You've no doubt seen how much I love JoomlaPraise and it's new AdminPraise administrator template for Joomla!. I use it on every Joomla! powered website that I can and recommend it to everyone. Though there are still a few bugs that need to be tweaked, it's doing an amazing job at getting me to never use Khepri again. And guess what... they've released a new version of it today.
The only thing that we get from the change-log on the AdminPraise download site is this; "3 new themes, SetStart function, Custom Title, Page Memory, and many bug fixes" so I wondered what the big deal was about the release. I've been using it for a few hours now, and I have my verdict. Now I'm writing a series of posts so that you can get a head start on how to use it, and why you should. Process of the Series
I'm gonna start off in the next blog post by discussing the three new themes that have been added, and which one fits my needs the best in any given situation. They are varied enough that I actually have a choice time to use each one, depending on what I am doing with it. Then I'll look at some of the beneficial features that come with the template that you can use to make the most out of your Joomla! experience. There will be some small tutorials to show you some of the core functions that the team has given us to play with. After that I will of course be sharing the iPhone display and how it works. This is the perfect template for my boss to use on his iPhone (Wordpress has an extension for the iPhone as well, which is something he uses often) and I'd like to see what other handy things there are in the template. Last but not least I'll share a few customization techniques that I use, and some tutorials on how to cut out some of the extra junk that is not needed after you decide your preferred method of navigation and usage.
