For those of you who may not be aware, today is breast cancer awareness day here in the UK.

We've helped the guys at Body Health Debate come up with a great way of marking the day. Today a new RSS plugin has been released to the Joomla community - the Breast Cancer Awareness RSS Syndicator.

This RSS syndicator is a native Joomla 1.5 extension and we consider it to be the best way of creating great looking RSS feeds in Joomla 1.5.

RSS feeds in Joomla 1.5 using this extension

Using the Breast Cancer Awareness RSS Syndicator, you can render images and HTML in the RSS feed and you can choose which sections and categories to include in the feed.

There is also an extensive list of feed types the Breast Cancer Awareness RSS Syndicator can output including RSS 1.0, RSS 2.0 and Atom.

Our favourite function from this RSS syndicator is that you can add a read more link to each item in the feed. This is great when your feed is syndicated on several websites because the read more link is an extra backlink to the article.
